Executive Experiences
Some conversations need a different room.
Senior leaders rarely lack meetings. What they often lack is the right environment for genuinely candid conversation.
Avanti Nuance creates carefully designed executive experiences that take important conversations beyond conventional corporate settings — either within a leadership team or among peers from different organisations.

Beyond the Boardroom
Executive Communication in the Real World
Some of the most important international business communication doesn’t happen in the boardroom.
It happens over dinner, at receptions, during conferences and in the informal conversations where relationships are built, opinions are formed and business gets done.
Beyond the Boardroom is a series of immersive executive experiences designed by Avanti Nuance to develop communication, cultural awareness and confidence in the less structured environments of international business.
THE EXECUTIVE DINNER CHALLENGE
A bespoke international business simulation — conducted entirely over dinner.
Participants are pre-assigned individual roles, confidential information and specific objectives. As the evening develops, they must question, persuade, negotiate, disagree, build relationships and pursue their objectives — without knowing everybody else’s agenda.
And circumstances can change.
New information, unexpected developments and, where appropriate, external actors introduce the unpredictability of real international business.
The evening concludes with a facilitated debrief examining not simply what participants said, but how effectively they operated: how they listened, communicated, negotiated, adapted and responded to different personalities and cultural perspectives.
BESPOKE
Each experience is designed around the organisation, sector, participants and development objectives.
4–10 PARTICIPANTS
Small enough for genuine interaction; large enough to create competing personalities, information and objectives.
EXPECT THE UNEXPECTED
New information, changing circumstances and optional external interventions test participants’ ability to think and communicate under pressure.
EXECUTIVE DEBRIEF
Each experience concludes with structured feedback on communication, negotiation, listening, cultural awareness and performance under pressure.
Designed and hosted by Avanti Nuance, in collaboration with TDR Languages.
Because international business doesn’t follow a script. Neither should executive communication training.
CREATE A BESPOKE EXPERIENCE
Beyond the Boardroom experiences are designed around the organisation, its people and the challenges they face.

Executive Circles
The conversations senior executives rarely have at work.
The more senior you become, the fewer places there are to speak completely freely.
Inside an organisation, conversations inevitably come with context — hierarchy, expectations, internal politics and competing priorities. Even among colleagues, senior leaders may hesitate to discuss the challenges they face with complete candour.
Avanti Nuance Executive Circles create a different environment: small, carefully curated groups of senior executives from different organisations and sectors, brought together for private, intelligent conversation among peers.
No presentations. No corporate agenda. No pitching.
Just experienced people, different perspectives and conversations worth having.
How Executive Circles Work
A carefully curated table
Each Executive Circle brings together a small number of senior leaders of comparable experience from different organisations and, wherever possible, different sectors.
Participants are selected individually. We consider professional background, seniority, international experience, interests and the perspectives each person can bring to the table.
The objective is not to assemble people who are identical. It is to create the right balance of common ground and different experience for an unusually good conversation.
UP TO SIX PEOPLE
Small enough for a single conversation. Large enough for different perspectives.
CAREFULLY CURATED
Comparable seniority, complementary experience and no inappropriate competitive conflicts.
CONFIDENTIAL. NO PITCHING.
Ideas may leave the table. Identities and attribution do not. This is peer conversation, not business development.
THE CONVERSATION
Each Circle is built around a broad theme relevant to senior leaders, but there is no presentation, workshop or predetermined outcome.
Avanti Nuance opens the conversation with a carefully chosen question or challenge. From there, the discussion belongs to the table — allowing participants to compare experiences, test assumptions and explore issues they may have few opportunities to discuss openly elsewhere.
POSSIBLE CONVERSATIONS
Leading through uncertainty • Managing across cultures • The changing role of the CEO • AI, people and leadership • Headquarters versus local reality • Building trust through change • Decisions that look different from the top
JOINING A CIRCLE
Executive Circles are deliberately small and carefully curated. Participation is therefore by invitation or expression of interest rather than open booking.
Before proposing a Circle, Avanti Nuance considers each participant’s experience, interests, professional context and the composition of the group as a whole.
The objective is not to fill seats. It is to create the right table.
INTERESTED IN JOINING A CIRCLE?
If you would like to be considered for a future Executive Circle, we would be pleased to hear from you.
A short initial conversation allows us to understand your background, interests and the kind of peer group that would be most valuable to you.
AVANTI NUANCE
Different settings. Better conversations.
Whether the challenge lies within a leadership team or in the isolation that can accompany senior responsibility, the principle is the same: the quality of the conversation depends on creating the right environment.
Avanti Nuance combines international business experience, cross-cultural understanding and executive communication to design settings in which people can speak candidly, challenge assumptions and see familiar problems from different perspectives.
Because sometimes changing the conversation starts with changing the room.
